PoorvaBhadra Nakshatra is the birth star of Lord Hanuman. On Every PoorvaBhadra Nakshatra special rituals are performed to lord.
Sahasra Deeparchana
Every year on Karthika masa(month) Pournami Sahasra Deeparchana is celebrated by lighting thousand eight (1008) lamps followed by Anna Prasadam.

On Ganesh Chaturthi & Before starting any major event Ganapati Pooja is performed in a special way apart from daily pooja.
